My name is Hector, and I am the IT (Information Technology) Manager at Abogada Kate. I grew up in Mexico City but moved to the U.S. to attend college after finishing high school. From a young age, I have been interested in technology and its ability to simplify our lives and improve our connections with others.
Having lived in a border town for several years, I formed deep bonds with the immigrant community by learning about their struggle within the complex immigration system. This also piqued my interest in exploring how technology could potentially assist those who are taking action to help others.
Prior to joining Abogada Kate, I held a senior position as an IT specialist at the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES), a non-profit organization in Texas. As a member of the Abogada Kate’s team, I now assist and support our team in fulfilling our mission of bringing peace of mind to our clients. When not working, I enjoy composing music, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with my family.
